Kelsey knew that she wanted to live in NYC and be an actress after seeing her first Broadway musical, “Cats”. Kelsey grew up in the very quiet, small town of Milford, PA and took every opportunity to perform that she could. Her parents were both musicians so she got to tag along and watch the pros at work. Eventually, they all began working together on shows, and before you knew, it a regular Von Trapp Family band was formed!

After graduating with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University, Kelsey finally realized her childhood dream and moved to the Big Apple! The day after her big move she booked a job on a cruise ship as a lounge singer for Carnival Cruise Line. For almost two years, Kelsey had the opportunity to perform and travel around the world. Eventually, New York City was still calling so she made her way back to continue her acting pursuits.

After moving back to NYC, she was introduced to Equinox Fitness. Kelsey began as a babysitter in the Kids’ Club, moved to the front desk and became the Front Desk Manager, and then finally completed a mentorship to become a Group Fitness Instructor in 2016. Now, Kelsey is an Equinox Brand Ambassador and teaches 12 different formats. She is also leading Equinox Day Trips to hike in Harriman State Park and mentors other blossoming instructors in brand new classes.

Fitness and Performing are the perfect pair for Kelsey as they keep both the body and mind finely tuned. Kelsey is lucky enough to be able to do both in New York City, the place she has always wanted to live.
